Doesn't everyone get up at 5am on a Sunday?

I am, apparently, a lunatic. Or that’s what my inner Fat Girl was trying to tell me as I was leaving the house shortly after 5am to run. ON A SUNDAY.

Sunday’s are meant for breakfast in bed, doing the crossword puzzle and staying in your jammies for as long as possible.

Unfortunately, I long ago lost the concept of what Sunday’s are supposed to be about. I’ve been working Sunday’s for a really long time. When you work weekends, you sort of lose how special weekends can be. For me, its just another work day with lots to get done.

Also, my mother, in her infinite wisdom declared that Sunday Mornings would he Weight Watcher days. So regardless of work, I’d be up at 7:30am to face the scale.

Today is the last Sunday I have to work. I’m rather not excited about that as I seemed to have filled the next six Sundays with other stuff, so I’ll have to wait till fall to experience that lounging about in your jammies kind of day.

Nice job getting up at 5 a.m.! I prefer Saturdays though. ;)

Oh Saturdays are 7:45am spin class for cross training. I chased that yesterday with a 1mile walk, and a 1mile run to calibrate my Nike+.

I love the early mornings. It’s so quiet outside, and so fresh. No cars and just the birds singing. IMHO, it’s the perfect time to run, but it’s also creepy in a way.
By the way, I love the name of your blog. Fat girls can run!

Nice job at getting up at 5am to run!! Getting up was surely tough, but didn’t you feel better after your run?

It’s crazy what this being healthy stuff does to ya. ;)

I love those 5am runs. But as I go past the people waiting for the bus early in the morning, I can see them, looking at me with hatred, as if I had a choice to get up that early and they had none. Trust me guys, I had no choice but to get up at 5am for my run. This is my life.

Well I hope your WW weigh in was good. I won’t be getting up that early to exercise, but I admire your dedication!!

I love getting up early for rides at the weekend, out on the trails while they are nice and quiet, I can get some serious thinking done and enjoy my self much more!

Love your Playlist name…yes you do!
