You are doing awesome! Congrats on the week free of smoking!! Can you get my husband on board?? :)

Roni, I’m doing Wellburtin/Zayban (its the same drug, an antidepressant actually, which helps with the crazies). And I have an electronic cigarette thing which has really helped alot. Its not an easy addiction to break so I feel for you! My dad is quitting with me and so long as neither one of us buys any, we’re good!

That’s fantastic that you haven’t smoked all week. Congrats and keep up the great work!

I’m determined not to gain weight while quitting smoking. And that is the rough part.

You are an inspiration! Keep up the amazing work!

Hey, thanks for stopping by my blog. Appreciate the comment!

It looks like we have similar goals… quit smoking, lose some weight, and run run run! I was able to quit smoking almost a year ago and I can tell you it is SOOOOOOO worth it. I also did the Wellburtin/Zayban thing and it worked for me (the second time). All I can say is to keep at it and you WILL get through it.

Just not-smoked my 1000th cigarette today :)

But since I did it cold turkey, my snacking got a bit out of control for a while there – have to get back on the better-eating wagon… apparently eating 3 pounds of chocolate covered almonds in a week isn’t really good for the muffin top, who knew!

yay for not smoking!!!! What ever you do, don’t get on the Wii. Repeat. Don’t get on the Wii. The Wii will know about the chocolate almonds. It will know.

Good for you – you are close to drop dead already … after seeing your picture my heart fluttered and I had to rest for a while before going back to the computer!

Check out http://www.poundsoffplayoff.com/ where a guys tries a different diet every two weeks and sees which one looses him the most weight. Then the winning diet goes on to the next round of play until a winner is declared. More funny than anything.

Andrew, you’re making me blush!
You’re blog idea is fantastic!!! I can’t wait to see who wins the brackets!!!!

Congrats on your loss. Its hard to eat clean and I commend you for taking it on! And way to go on the not smoking thing! Addiction is hard to overcome be it food or smokes or anything else! Its not just physical but mental and I think it takes big guts to overcome the mental side!! Good for you!! Don’t give up on that!

Aw thanks Heather. This is just proof that I am a masochist.
