My Nike Flight headphones fizzled on my run today! OH NOOOOOOO! I love these headphones. I mean, I *heart* them long time. They go behind the neck with the cord hanging down back so it doesn’t get in your way at all while you’re running.

Wait, let me back up. I LOVE Nike Flight headphones for running. I hate using them any other time. I run with my hair in a pony tail. These headphones don’t work for me if I have my hair down all girly like. This is my third pair of Nike Flight headphones in three years. That’s not a particularly good track record and is the reason for most of bad reviews Nike Flight gets. They fit me great however and since it takes me FOREVER to decide to buy something new, I might just have to stick with them

Unless Dear Readers, you want to recommend more awesome headphones??

ACKKKKK Now my iPod is telling me there are no saved Nike+ workouts!! This is not a good Nike Day!

Hi Amy!
I saw you were going to FitBloggin! My friend Steph and I are going as well. I was wondering if you would be interested in roomies?? this will be my first conference and my friend isn’t even a blogger I’m dragging her with me so I wouldn’t be alone lol! Just let me know if you’d be interested! Great blog and keep running!!

Hey, drop me a note to fatgirlscanrun at good ole gmail and we will discuss!

Do I need to kick Nike’s butt for you?

yes please. Nike will soon feel the wrath of a 5foot4 hippy blonde!!! Muah ha ha haaaaaaaaa!

Do you mean hippy as in organic carrot-stevia granola munching or hippy as in could birth a medium hippo with no real issue? Ok, yeah, both totally apply…

And hey hey hey… I’m 5’5″!!!

Oh c’mon now. You’re not THAT hippy. Tho you will not need total sensory deprivation and back-up drugs.

I’ve heard that the Sennheiser sport ‘phones are good (http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-PMX80-Behind-Phones-Sports/dp/B001GT185K/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1282847783&sr=8-1) but as I am rather poor, I use a cheapy pair of in-ear phones that I got at a discount store. They’re ok but I am saving up for a good pair of sport headphones.

Those do look nice, a tad pricey tho. I generally carry my iPod in my right hand so hm, those appear to have the cord attach to the left side. I mean I COULD switch hands but really, that’s like effort and stuff

I use a cheap Coby mp3 player, kinda like this one:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00134ZC1Y/ref=mp_s_a_2?qid=1282882807&sr=8-2

except mine is 4g. I’m probably the last person in the world who still prefers mp3 players with alkaline batteries instead of rechargeables. It’s leftover from my days living in a 3rd world country with limited access to electrical outlets.

Anyway, the Coby works just fine for me, except I would like to get some nicer headphones. All in due time!!

[...] finally got fed up with my cheapo headphones. I was actually going to get another pair of Nike Flights, despite the drawbacks, but Murphy being Murphy, Target was all out of [...]
